Volunteers needed for Woodstock Land Conservancy BioBlitz!!

Citizen Scientists Needed

Volunteers are needed to work beside Biologists and naturalists who will be going into the field during the BioBlitz at Thorn Preserve to find and identify mammals, birds, butterflies, mushrooms, frogs, salamanders, turtles, wildflowers, trees, crayfish, caddis flies, stoneflies, bats, moths, animal tracks and scat. Citizen scientists are needed to take notes and photos and assist with data collection.


The Woodstock Land Conservancy will be holding two training sessions at Thorn Preserve for those who would like to assist with data collection:

Wednesday, June 1 @ 6pm

Sunday, June 5 @ 11am

In addition to help with gathering data, we also need volunteers to help with:
  • Manning the Staging Area on Friday and Saturday
  • Helping with Parking on Friday and Saturday
